The five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), the first of its kind in India launched by IIM Indore, is a unique and creative programme to meet the aspirations of young students to become management professionals, change agents and societal leaders.


The Programme would consist of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years with each year having 3 terms of 3 months each. The broad design of the Programme would include education in Natural Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Humanities and Social Sciences setting. Accordingly, 40% of the Programme would focus on subjects related to the following areas :

  • Mathematics, Statistics, Logic and Computer Science
  • Introduction to Literature : Indo-Anglian, British and American
  • Introduction to Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Geology, and Geography
  • Civilization and History (both India and World)
  • Exposure to Natural Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Botany
  • Exposure to Languages : (at least one foreign language and one Indian language)
  • Exposure to Performing Arts and Fine Arts
  • Soft skills : Leadership Development, Personality Development, Team work and Communication
Second Module would consist of all functional areas of management like Accounting, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Decision Science, Operations and Services Management, Marketing, Economics, Information Technology, Communication, Legal Aspects of Business, Ethics, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship. This would account for the next 50% of the course design.

The remaining 10% of the Programme would focus on international exposure and internships in various social organizations in India.

The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary / XII Std. / +2 Level / equivalent examination from any of the recognized central or state boards. Candidates appearing forthe final examination of Higher Secondary / XII Std. / +2 level / equivalent and those who have completed the examination and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if he/she submits a certificate latest by July31, 2014 from the Principal of his/her School/Institute (issued on or before July31, 2014) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the Higher Secondary/ XII Std./+ 2 level/ equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate. Candidates satisfying the following minimum conditions are eligible to apply for the Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Indore.

  • Minimum Eligibility Conditions
    • General and NC‐OBC Category
      • 60% Aggregate marks in both X and XII Standard OR SAT1 overall score of 1600 out of 2400 (SAT –1 score obtained during January 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014.

        Candidate who is yet to complete the examination of XII Standard or is awaiting result may also apply. However, the candidate’s final selection/admission will be subject to satisfying the minimum eligibility conditions as mentioned above.

        At the time of registration for the programme candidate is required to submit X and XII standard marksheet (securing 60% and above) failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.
      • Age limit : Not more than 20 years as on July 31, 2014.
    • SC, ST and PWD/DA Category
      • 55% Aggregate marks in both X and XII Standard OR SAT 1 overall score of 1475 out of 2400 (SAT –1 score obtained during January 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014 only is valid).

        Candidate who is yet to complete the examination of XII Standard or is awaiting result may also apply. However, the candidate’s final selection/admission will be subject to satisfying the minimum eligibility conditions as mentioned above.

        At the time of registration for the programme candidate is required to submit X and XII standard marksheet (securing 55% and above) failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.
      • Age limit : Not more than 22 years as on July 31, 2014.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the practice followed by the board from where the candidate has obtained the certificate. In case the candidates are awarded grades instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the board from where they have obtained the certificate.

Note : Applicants pursuing their XII standard or equivalent from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply and they have to submit equivalency certificate for Association of Indian Universities New Delhi.

Note : SAT-1 Scores obtained during January 1, 2013 - March 31, 2014 are only valid.

Eligible candidates should download the Application Form (given at www.iimidr.ac.in) and submit the filled in Application Form so as to reach IIM Indore Admissions Office on or before April 4, 2014 along with non‐refundable application fee (DD/BC drawn in the favour of Indian Institute of Management, Indore @ Indore) of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) (Rs. 500/- for SC, ST and DA category) with attested copies of all the relevant certificates. Candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST and PWD/DA categories need to submit valid and attested certificates in support of their reservation category.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in Aptitude Test, and Personal Interview.
