The Programme would consist of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years with each year having 3 terms of 3 months each. The broad design of the Programme would include education in Natural Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Humanities and Social Sciences setting. Accordingly, 40% of the Programme would focus on subjects related to the following areas :

• Mathematics, Statistics, Logic and Computer Science
• Introduction to Literature : Indo-Anglian, British and American
• Introduction to Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Geology, and Geography
• Civilization and History (both India and World)
• Exposure to Natural Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Botany
• Exposure to Languages : (at least one foreign language and one Indian language)
• Exposure to Performing Arts and Fine Arts
• Soft skills : Leadership Development, Personality Development, Team work and Communication

Second Module would consist of all functional areas of management like Accounting, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Decision Science, Operations and Services Management, Marketing, Economics, Information Technology, Communication, Legal Aspects of Business, Ethics, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship. This would account for the next 50% of the course design.

The remaining 10% of the Programme would focus on international exposure and internships in various social organizations in India.

The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary / XII Std. / +2 Level / equivalent examination from any of the recognized central or state boards. Candidates appearing forthe final examination of Higher Secondary / XII Std. / +2 level / equivalent and those who have completed the examination and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if he/she submits a certificate latest by July31, 2014 from the Principal of his/her School/Institute (issued on or before July31, 2014) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the Higher Secondary/ XII Std./+ 2 level/ equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate. Candidates satisfying the following minimum conditions are eligible to apply for the Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Indore.

• Minimum Eligibility Conditions
  • General and NC‐OBC Category
    • 60% Aggregate marks in both X and XII Standard OR SAT1 overall score of 1600 out of 2400 (SAT –1 score obtained during January 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014.
      
      Candidate who is yet to complete the examination of XII Standard or is awaiting result may also apply. However, the candidate’s final selection/admission will be subject to satisfying the minimum eligibility conditions as mentioned above.
      
      At the time of registration for the programme candidate is required to submit X and XII standard marksheet (securing 60% and above) failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.
    • Age limit : Not more than 20 years as on July 31, 2014.
  • SC, ST and PWD/DA Category
    • 55% Aggregate marks in both X and XII Standard OR SAT 1 overall score of 1475 out of 2400 (SAT –1 score obtained during January 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014 only is valid).
      
      Candidate who is yet to complete the examination of XII Standard or is awaiting result may also apply. However, the candidate’s final selection/admission will be subject to satisfying the minimum eligibility conditions as mentioned above.
      
      At the time of registration for the programme candidate is required to submit X and XII standard marksheet (securing 55% and above) failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.
    • Age limit : Not more than 22 years as on July 31, 2014.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the practice followed by the board from where the candidate has obtained the certificate. In case the candidates are awarded grades instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the board from where they have obtained the certificate.

Note : Applicants pursuing their XII standard or equivalent from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply and they have to submit equivalency certificate for Association of Indian Universities New Delhi.

Note : SAT-1 Scores obtained during January 1, 2013 - March 31, 2014 are only valid.

Eligible candidates should download the Application Form (given at www.iimidr.ac.in) and submit the filled in Application Form so as to reach IIM Indore Admissions Office on or before April 4, 2014 along with non‐refundable application fee (DD/BC drawn in the favour of Indian Institute of Management, Indore @ Indore) of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) (Rs. 500/- for SC, ST and DA category) with attested copies of all the relevant certificates. Candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST and PWD/DA categories need to submit valid and attested certificates in support of their reservation category.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in Aptitude Test, and Personal Interview.

The selection process is as follows (note that all dates and timelines are tentative and may be changed as required) :

  • The candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria should submit their application in the prescribed format along with attested copies of all relevant documents and non‐refundable application fee of Rs.1000/‐ (Rs 500/‐ in case of SC, ST and DA category) through Demand Draft in favor of Indian Institute of Management Indore Payable at Indore, so as to reach IIM Indore Admissions Office on or before April 4, 2014.The application form is available at www.iimidr.ac.inwww.iimidr.ac.in.
• Step 2
  There will be a two-stage selection process
  • Stage 1 :
    Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test (AT) to be conducted across 6 centers, viz., Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi. The date of conducting AT is Thursday, May 15, 2014. The pattern of AT will be as follows :
    • AT will be of objective-type nature. The sample pattern will be uploaded in our website beforehand.
    • There will be two broad sections in AT, viz., Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability.
    • There will be 100 questions in total with time duration of two hours (120 minutes).
    • Each question will carry 4 marks.
    • There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
  • Stage 2 :
    Personal interviews (PIs) will be conducted at 6 centers (as above).Shortlist for PI will be announced on Monday, May 26, 2014. PI will be conducted during Tuesday-Friday, June 3-6, 2014 at centers (as above).
    
    Weightage for shortlisting for PI (After AT) - The candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:10 category-wise. The following weightage will be applicable based on the AT :

    Aptitude Test (AT)

    Within test : 60% Quantitative Ability Section and 40% Verbal Ability Section

    It is also to be noted that only those candidates whose raw scores in both the sections are positive will be considered for shortlisting for PI.
  • Stage 3 :
    Final selection will be based on the overall performance of the applicantinAT, and PI. The following weightages will be used to arrive at the composite score for final selection :

    IIM Indore will intimate the candidates about their selection on Monday, June 16, 2014. No intimation will be sent to candidates who are not selected.
  • Stage 4 :
    The selected candidates should send their acceptance of admission offeralong with a commitment fee of Rs.1,00,000 to IIM Indore on or before Monday, June 30, 2014. This amount will be adjusted against tuition fees.
  • Stage 5 :
    The candidates will formally register at IIM Indore after fulfilling all the requirements andpayment of all necessary fees on Friday, August 1, 2014. Classes will commence on Monday, August 4, 2014.
    
    Note : IIM Indore reserves the right to decide the eligibility conditions in terms of equivalence, percentage marks, and the recognition of the qualifying examination, intake etc.
